Activities in the Poconos Near Winona Lakes

The Poconos Mountains are one big amusement park and activities are scattered all over the 2400 square miles of this region of Pennsylvania. Winona Lakes community is located in the more western section of the Southern tier along Rt I-80 which we call the “Ski region” since all of the major ski resorts are located in this area. Another region is the more northern region we call the “lake region” and it is along Rt I-84 with no major ski resorts, but more lakes.
